Hyper-Fluorimeter

Enhanced fluorimeter with the ability to gather advanced information about properties of a sample under study and to compare data obtained using different equipment. Background: Fluorimeters allow researchers to utilize an instrument that supplies advanced information of a sample under study in medicine and biological research. Technology Overview: Dr. Michael Gouzman, Adjuct Professor at Stony Brook University proposed an invention which enhances the prospects of using flourometers, arming researchers with an instrument that supplies them with advanced information about properties of a sample under study, and provides them with a possibility to compares data obtained by various scientists using different equipment. The proposed Hyper-Flourimeter can be used as ordinary flourimeters, in particular, in medicine and biological research. Advantages: Capable of obtaining the entire emission spectrum in a single measurement Obtaining the 3D spectra takes a short time because this technology provides the emission spectra acquisition in one short measurement Applications: Gathering advanced information about properties of a sample under study Intellectual Property Summary: Provisional Filed Stage of Development: Licensing Potential: We seek to develop and commercialize, by an exclusive or non-exclusive license agreement and/or sponsored research, with a company active in the area. Licensing Status: Available for License Additional Information: Electrical Engineering Flourimeter, Multidimensional spectrum, Modulation frequency, Light intensity, EEM https://stonybrook.technologypublisher.com/files/sites/optics-and-photonics-11.jpg , https://stonybrook.technologypublisher.com/files/sites/research-tools-and-reagents1.jpg
