Affinity Purified, Polyclonal Anti-HRD1 Antibody
Anti-HRD1 is an affinity purified rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against amino acids 606 - 616 of human HRD1; RLQKLESPVAH). HRD1 is a ubiquitin-protein ligase (a.k.a. an E3) located in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) membrane with roles in catalyzing the ubiquitination of misfolded and aberrant ER proteins. HRD1 is also known as synoviolin (synovial apoptosis inhibitor 1, SYVN1) since it is upregulated in rheumatoid arthritis and plays a role in the progression of that disease. HRD1 is also known as DER3. Anti-HRD1 recognizes HRD1 (74kDa) in all mammalian species tested (human, rat and mouse) in immunoblots and immunoprecipitation. It was not tested for immunofluorescence microscopy. Raising and use of Anti-HRD1 are described in: Pearce, M.M., Wang, Y., Kelley, G.G. and Wojcikiewicz, R.J.H.
