This program measures brain atrophy using fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) images of the lateral ventricular volume (LVV) region of the brain.
High quality MRI scans are used to measure brain atrophy. However these scans are not always available or current but it is vital to know the patients status with regards to brain atrophy. This program is able to estimate the condition of the brain using Fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) images of the lateral ventricular volume (LVV) region of the brain. This program will allow doctors to keep better tabs on the conditions of their patients.
